Ocean Arrow

The JR Ocean Arrow runs from Kyoto Station to Shingu in Wakayama Prefecture stopping at Shin-Osaka Station, Tennoji and Wakayama.

Ocean Arrow

The Ocean Arrow train is popular with onsen fans visiting the hot springs in Wakayama. Shingu is also close to Nachi Falls - one of Japan's most scenic waterfalls.

The route allows some beautiful ocean views as the train skirts the Wakayama coastline.

"Ocean Arrow" is also the name of the high speed catamaran ferry that runs between Kumamoto and Shimabara in Kyushu.
